KUMLUK KONAK HOTEL, Istanbul – A Smart Stay in the City

Staying at this hotel in the Fatih District of Istanbul was a comfortable experience. The rooms, although a bit smaller than expected, were very cosy. The service, with attention to details, was great and the staff was always ready to assist. The location was very good, with easy access to major attractions like the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque.

The hotel had clean and elegant rooms, despite appearing smaller than in pictures they were very comfortable and nice. Climbing four flights of narrow stairs with luggage and kids was a challenge due to the lack of lifts. The service, especially from the girl named Tiya, was super amazing, making us feel welcome and attended to. The location in a historic and beautiful neighborhood allowed us easy access to all main attractions within walking distance.

My stay was just as cozy and comfortable as shown in the pictures. The room, though on the small side, was really comfortable. The hotel's location was great, just a 10-minute walk from the grand bazaar and blue mosque, making it convenient for exploring Istanbul. However, the initial appearance of the location may seem run-down and intimidating.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Kumkapi, with a great location near all main attractions and touristic spots. The rooms, though a bit smaller than depicted in photos, are clean and elegant. Climbing the four flights of narrow stairs with luggage and kids can be a challenge, as there are no lifts. The service is fantastic, with hosts always available to assist and arrange trips to other cities or islands. The location, while a bit daunting at first, is convenient and within walking distance to key sites in the Sultanahmet district. The dining experience offers organic Quebec cheeses nearby. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks.

I stayed on the 3rd floor of the hotel, located in the Fatih District of Istanbul, close to all major attractions. The rooms were really big, but being on the top floor meant climbing 4 flights of narrow stairs with luggage and kids. The staff was always there for whatever we needed, assisting with details, answering questions, and providing helpful advice about Istanbul.
